For Halloween we will work on fun and funny designs that have a spooky scary theme. The origin of Halloween is said to be the eve of All Saints Day in which early societies protected there harvests from predators through jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows. The gatherings that would create these items evolved into the parties and celebrations we know today. To enhance this event in modern times we use flowers to their best advantage of color and design to honor the spirit of this tradition.

For Thanksgiving we learn to combine fruit and vegetables with flowers into beautiful arrangements that bring to life any environment for this day of feasting and giving thanks for divine favors and kindness. Your friends and loved ones will appreciate the atmosphere you will learn to create in this class. It is truly a cornucopia of information.

Christmas is always a favorite time for many people around the world. The greatest impact and formality of design is most abundant during this season. We use candle and ornament transformations as an example to evoke the imagination towards dreams of royal apparitions with everything from holiday glitz or to something just simple and elegant.
